■感想
児童文学だから簡単だろうと思っていましたが、正直かなり難しかったです。購入した洋書の帯にはTOEIC600点レベルとありましたが、それでは絶対無理でしょう…。
夢の中では、荒唐無稽なことが次々と場面転換して起こりますよね？本書はまさにそんな感じの物語でした。キャラクターが突然現れては突然消え、場面もコロコロと変わります。予備知識があればもう少しすんなり読めたと思いますが、初見ではエンジンがかかり始めるのが遅く、『鏡の国のアリス』の後半のほうでようやく話のリズムに馴れてきました。あとは鼻炎がひどくて集中しきれなかったのもあります。う～ん。またリベンジしたい一冊です。
